Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for an Oracle HCM QA Analyst for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in the USA. Our client is a global engineering, procurement, consulting, and construction company with a more than 100-year track record of innovation in sustainable infrastructure. Its services include design-build, program management, civil works, infrastructure development, site evaluation, etc. The company operates globally, with offices and projects in over 100 countries, and has a significant presence in regions such as North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East. The project: The 100% employee-owned company is embarking on a 2-year journey to refresh the HR systems by moving to Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM). We’re seeking a QA Analyst with Oracle HCM or experience in a similar ERP system. We need your help supporting the QA & testing activities on this implementation. You’ll partner with the project team members and the System Integrator (SI), who is helping BV migrate to HCM, to understand business requirements and provide support in test script development, execution, and retesting the defects for assigned workstreams. As a QA Analyst, you will be responsible for implementing standard QA/testing practices and participating in all aspects of project testing on this implementation. There is a necessity to work onsite in Overland Park 3 days a week (Wednesday is a mandatory in-office day).

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience testing and validating Oracle HCM Fusion functionality. 
  • Understanding data migration testing, functional, system integration, user acceptance testing & e2e testing. 
  • Understanding executing test cases to verify the software's functionality and identify defects. 
  • Expertise in creating and maintaining test data to support testing activities. 
  • Experience working with business and IT teams to translate functional and non-functional requirements into test cases and scripts. 
  • Experience facilitating testing activities, conducting test runs and cycles, defect tracking, issue resolution, and defect triage meetings is required. 
  • Excellent communication, attention to detail & documentation skills required. 
  • Experience in writing manual tests, executing test runs, SIT & UAT test planning & execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop test scripts utilizing business requirements/functional documentation & design specifications.
  • Execute SIT test scripts, record actual results, document, and retest defects.
  • Assist in test defect management process, monitor, and report on defect resolution.
  • Review test scenarios and scripts with the QA Lead and business SMEs and incorporate feedback.
  • Coordinate execution of SIT test scripts with Project Managers and QA Lead.
  • Review test sequence and test data required for testing with Product Owners, Business Process Leads, and Business SMEs.
  • Work with the QA Lead to outline the Test plan for each cycle.
  • Create test data as needed for all testing cycles.
  • Participate in the test plan meeting and provide feedback.
  • Develop test scripts for UAT scenarios identified by Product Owners, Business Process Leads, and Business SMEs.
  • Prepare regression test suite and perform regression testing before each go-live.
  • Support end-to-end testing sessions.
  • Provide input for Go-NoGo decisions and participate in go-NoGo meetings.

Will be a plus:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or Computer Science Degree
